Terms of use.
The agreement between you and us when you use AltaGama FC — what the service does, what we ask of you, and the limits of what a free fixture calendar can promise.
Who we are
AltaGama FC — Fixture Club is a service of Medina Digital LLC, Paseo de la Castellana 77, Madrid, M 28046, Spain. These terms are the agreement between you and us about your use of the site, the calendar feeds and everything else we publish here. You can reach us at contact@altagamafc.com.
Agreeing to these terms
By using the site, subscribing to a calendar feed or creating an account, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service. If you are using it for an organisation, you are confirming you can agree to these terms on its behalf.
What the service is
We publish fixture dates and kickoff times for the competitions we cover, calendar feeds you can subscribe to in your own calendar app, editorial coverage of those competitions, headlines from other publishers that link out to the original article, email alerts when a fixture you follow moves, and an optional newsletter. Most of it needs no account. All of it is free to use today.
Kickoff times are not a promise
This is the most important thing on the page. Fixtures move — for broadcast, for weather, for cup runs — and sometimes they move late. We run our own fixtures database, synced from each competition's official data platform. A time shown as TBD has not been confirmed by the competition. Do not rely on us where being wrong has a cost — travel, tickets, time off, anything you are paying for. Check with the club or the competition before you act.
Using the calendar feeds
Subscribe to as many feeds as you like for your own use, and share the public ones freely. The feed you build from your own club selection is identified by its link: anyone holding it can see which clubs you picked and subscribe to them, though only you — from your account, or with your edit secret — can change it. Think before you post it, and note that if you unsubscribe the feed empties for everyone holding it too. What we ask you not to do: republish our feeds inside another product, sell access to them, or fetch them automatically more than once an hour per feed. Your calendar app decides its own refresh schedule and that is not on you; this is about programs that download them on their own. We may rate-limit or withdraw a feed that is being used that way.
Your account
You need an account only to save calendars and preferences across devices. You must be 16 or older to create one. Keep your sign-in details to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has them. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete it whenever you like: write to contact@altagamafc.com and we will erase it. Deleting it ends this agreement.
The newsletter
The newsletter is opt-in: you get it only if you ask for it, and not asking costs you nothing and does not stop you creating an account. You can leave whenever you like — every message carries an unsubscribe link and unsubscribing takes effect straight away. It is separate from fixture-change alerts, which follow the clubs you subscribe to and are controlled from your account. What we do with the address you subscribe with is in the privacy policy.
Editorial content and AI assistance
Our articles are produced with AI assistance under human editorial control. The images that go with them may be AI-generated too. We correct mistakes when we find them or when you tell us about one. Nothing we publish is advice — betting, financial, or otherwise — and match reports and previews are commentary, not statements of fact about the future.
Clubs, competitions and their marks
Club names, competition names, badges and kit belong to their owners. We use them only to identify which match is which, which is what trade mark law allows. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any club, league, competition or governing body, and nothing here should be read as suggesting otherwise.
What belongs to us
The site, its design, the AltaGama FC name and mark, and our editorial writing and images are ours. Read them, link to them, quote a line with credit, and use the feeds as they are meant to be used. Do not copy the design or the mark, republish articles in full, or scrape the site to build something that competes with it. The facts themselves — who plays whom, and when — are nobody’s property, including ours.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to break the law, and do not try to break the service: no probing for weaknesses, no interfering with other people’s accounts, no automated collection beyond what our robots file allows, and no passing yourself off as us. If you do any of it we may suspend or remove your access, and we may tell the authorities where we have to.
Other people’s sites and apps
Our feeds run inside your calendar app and our articles link out to other sites. Those are not ours, we do not control them, and they have terms of their own. A link is not a recommendation.
Availability, and things changing
We try to keep the service up and the data fresh, but we do not promise either. It goes down for maintenance, our providers have outages, and data sources change what they give us. We may add, change or drop features — including competitions we cover — and we will not always be able to tell you first.
If we ever charge for it
There is nothing to pay today, no part of the service is behind a payment, and no paid tier is planned. If we ever introduce one we will say so clearly before anyone pays, and these terms will gain the payment, renewal, cancellation and refund terms that go with it.
Suspending or ending access
We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, or if we have to for legal, security or operational reasons. Where we can, we will tell you why and give you a chance to put it right. You can stop using the service at any time, and ask us to delete your account by writing to contact@altagamafc.com.
What we do not warrant
The service is provided as it is. We do not warrant that fixture data is accurate or complete, that the site or the feeds will be available, or that either is fit for a particular purpose of yours. None of this affects rights you have as a consumer that the law does not let us limit.
Our liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profit or lost opportunity, or for anything you lose by relying on a fixture time we published. We do not cap our liability at any figure. Nothing here excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or wilful misconduct, or for anything else the law does not let us exclude.
Your rights as a consumer
If you use the service as a consumer in the EU or the UK, you keep every right your own country’s law gives you that cannot be signed away, and you can bring proceedings in the courts where you live. If something goes wrong, write to contact@altagamafc.com first — most things are quicker to fix that way, and we answer complaints within thirty days. We do not take part in any consumer arbitration or mediation scheme, so if writing to us does not settle it, you are free to go to your national consumer authority or to the courts.
Governing law and where disputes go
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, that choice does not take away the protections of the law where you live, and you can bring proceedings in the courts of your own country. If you are not a consumer — a business using the service, say — the courts of Madrid, Spain have exclusive jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we will post the new version here and update the date at the top. Where a change materially affects you, we will tell you before it takes effect. Carrying on using the service after that is how you accept the new version; if you would rather not, stop using it and ask us to delete your account.
